남 : Are you going to upgrade your phone to the latest model?
휴대폰 최신 기종으로 바꿀 거야?

여 : No. I've only just bought this one!
아니. 이거 산 지 얼마 안 됐어!

남 : Well. There are a few differences between that model and the latest one.
흠. 그 기종하고 최신 기종은 다른 점이 좀 있는데. 

여 : Like what?
예를 들면?

남 : Well. The screen is larger and the camera in better than before.
글쎄. 화면이 더 크고 카메라가 더 좋아졌지. 

여 : I'm not bothered about the camera and I think this screen size is ok for now.
나는 카메라는 상관없고 - 지금으로선 화면도 이 크기면 괜찮을 것 같아. 

남 : In that case - it's probably not worth upgrading yet.
그렇다면야 아직은 기기변경해 봤자 보람이 없겠구나.

토익 RC + 문제 풀이 해석 정리

해석 : 그 손님은 가게에서 구입한 주방용품이 그의 집에 도착했을 때 부서져 있었다고 주장했다.

해설 : 명사절 접속사 채우기 문제로 동사 (insisted)의 목적어 자리에 온 절 (the kitchen ~ when he ~) 앞에는 명사절 접속사가 와야 하므로 명사절 접속사인 a, b, c가 정답 후보다. 빈칸 뒤에 주어와 동사를 모두 갖춘 완전한 문장이 왔으므로 완전한 절을 이글 수 있는 that이 정답이다. 명사절 접속사 b, c뒤에는 불완전한 절이 와야 하며 대명사 it은 절을 이끌 수 없다.
