남 : The sound-proofing in this apartment is terrible.
이 아파트는 방음이 형편없군.

여 : I know. I can't put up with all the noise.
맞아. 난 이 온갖 소음을 참을 수 없어. 

남 : It sounds like someone is jumping up and down on the floor upstairs.
위층에서 누가 계속 점프하는 것 같은 소리야. 

여 : Should we go up and complain?
올라가서 한마디 해야 할까?

Or we could write a note and put it on the front door?
아니면 그냥 쪽지를 써서 대문에 붙여놓을까?

남 : Well. If they have young children up there - the noise can't be helped.
글쎄. 윗집에 어린애들이 있는 거라면 - 소음은 해결할 방법이 없어.
