남 : That was a fantastic match - wasn't it?
대단한 경기였어. 안 그래?
여 : Yeah. They played even better in the second half.
그래. 후반전에 더 잘하더라.
남 : I was worried when it went to penalties - though.
하지만 승부차기까지 갔을 때는 걱정됐어.
여 : Based on the past performance - I think we were right to be worried.
그 전의 경기력에 비추어 본다면 우리가 걱정할 만했다고 봐.
남 : I could barely look during that last one.
마지막 페널티킥은 바라보는 것조차 힘들었어.
여 : I know. My heart was in my mouth.
그러게. 조바심 나서 죽을 뻔했어.
남 : But anyway - it had a great result in the end. Let's get a drink to celebrate.
그래도 어쨌든 마지막에 결과가 좋았지. 축하하게 한 잔 하자.

* though : 양보의 접속사로도 쓰이지만 오늘 스크립트에서처럼 부사로도 쓰입니다. 이때는 문장 가운데나 문미에 쓰이고 접속사로 쓰일 때 그 의미는 in spite of the fact가 됩니다.
